Robert was drawn into his work with clay twenty-nine years ago and has been actively pursuing the ceramics spectrum ever since. Ceramics is a complex craft, requiring controlled physical and mental discipline, the magic of the fire, and dabbling in the crucible of nature. After many years creating functional and traditional ceramics, Robert’s interests have shifted toward three unpredictable  and spontaneous ceramic techniques, “raku,” “saggar,” and “horse hair.” These three methods have presented the artist with many exciting and demanding new challenges. Art By Yuli is a mother and daughter collaboration with a single mission: creating one-of-a-kind shawls and scarves utilizing the softest and most beautiful Argentine Yarn. Their shawls and scarves add warmth and style to any outfit. Each piece in their collection is an original creation, done entirely by hand, using one or two needles, a small or large loom and a triangular weaving frame. Artistique Studios is delighted to present an array of artistic gifts that give back to our community.
