Artistique Studios is delighted to present an array of artistic gifts that give back to our community. Award-winning teen artist Katie Gerlt, who has won many prizes at the ENC’s own children’s art contests over the years, has created beautiful fine art of animals, flowers and portraits of people. Her new line of notecards featuring her paintings of sea life debuts this Fall of 2015, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Pacific Marine Mammal Center in Laguna Beach, which has performed more rescues than ever this year. Katie’s mother Linda creates wonderful handmade jewelry and handknit accessories that are perfect for holiday gifts.
Artistique Studios and 49 other talented artisans will be featured at the ENC’s Artisan Marketplace this Sunday on December 6, from 10 am – 3 pm ♥ $2 entry fee. The holidays are here and you have a chance be a positive part of the local economy! Visit the Environmental Nature Center and walk the trails to shop for handmade gifts from local artisans offering a variety of eco-friendly, sustainable, arts and crafts. Your friends and family will love that you cared enough about them to think about their planet when you purchased their unique gift.
