Artisan Sneak Peak: Zorami Samuelson

IMG_5452Zorami creates apparel for budding yogi’s. She intends that her designs will be fun to wear, will spark enthusiasm for asanas, and will exude a sense of gratitude and peace. As a new mom of 2 little ones, Zorami fell in love with and yearned for mom and baby yoga classes. They were a perfect place to regain strength after birthing, while being connected to her babies in a nurturing and calming space.  Eager to enrich the kid-yoga world, Zorami founded First Pose. She cannot think of a more important gift to pass on to her little ones, than love for a yoga or other meditation practice.

Zorami is originally from Eureka, California, where redwood forest meets the Pacific Ocean, in a bank of fog. She has a Master’s in Business and hundreds of art classes under her belt. She is a lover of modern dance and all things figurative. Zorami lives with her babies, Rose and Forest, and her magnificent husband Greg. All First Pose apparel is 100% Organic Cotton, made in India; screen-printed by hand with water-based ink in Zorami’s home in Costa Mesa. All items are 100% returnable, satisfaction guaranteed.

Zorami and 49 other talented artisans will be featured at the ENC’s Artisan Marketplace this Sunday on December 6, from 10 am – 3 pm ♥  $2 entry fee. The holidays are here and you have a chance be a positive part of the local economy! Visit the Environmental Nature Center and walk the trails to shop for handmade gifts from local artisans offering a variety of eco-friendly, sustainable, arts and crafts.  Your friends and family will love that you cared enough about them to think about their planet when you purchased their unique gift.  You’ll love spending the day in Nature instead of a shopping mall! $2 entry fee goes directly to our environmental education programs.
