Hello everyone, I’m the new communications intern at the Environmental Resource Center and I’m very excited to meet everyone involved in this community. I’m a recent graduate of the University of Arizona, and I am looking forward to gaining insight and experience in the field of communications and marketing. I’ve had a passion for writing since I was in fourth grade, when I would spend my weekends reading books or writing poems in between school and sports. My family thought I would become an author when I grew up, but I decided to major in Psychology and Minor in Marketing during undergrad. I am still finding my way in life, and have decided to rekindle my hobby of reading/ writing and combine it with other passions of communications/marketing and social media. What millennial doesn’t have a passion for social media these days? After my internship, I will be applying to a few Masters of Communications programs and work for a company I am passionate about. I will help elevate the company and bring new innovative ideas to my future team.
I recently gained an interest for yoga, and I love to do high intensity interval training. I’m always on the lookout for yummy and healthy meals to try, so if you have any favorites, send them my way! I love animals, and have a soft spot for dogs, although I don’t currently own one, and I love being involved with family and the community. I love the outdoors and arts & crafts, although I haven’t had the time to adventure outdoors lately. I will make time after I take the GRE to hike trails in Southern California and I can’t wait to explore and attend upcoming community events at the ENC!
