The Teachers Night Out series brings all kinds of educators together for fun afternoons of learning exciting hands-on ways to teach children about science and nature. Everyone is invited! Classroom teachers, outdoor educators, scout leaders, homeschool parents – anyone who wants to be a better educator.
Join us as we walk through the Center, after hours, to discover some fun ways you and your students can learn about weather!
Here in southern California we experience many types of weather despite having temperate seasons – occasional rain, Santa Ana winds, dry heat, and lots of sun. What can we learn by studying these weather patterns? Join ENC staff for a fun evening of curriculum ideas related to the science of weather. This workshop’s target audience is ECE and K-5 teachers, but anyone is welcome to attend.
