We all love California. Truly there is no better place to live, work and play. From Joshua Tree to the Redwoods and Big Sur to Half Dome… our natural beauty is unsurpassed.
Join us on September 27 to discover some new ways to connect your students to California’s wild wonders. ENC staff and guest speaker Michelle Tollett from Calflora will share some ideas for incorporating California’s state plants and animals into fun curriculum ideas. This workshop’s target audience is ECE and K-5 teachers, but anyone is welcome to attend.
The Teachers Night Out series brings all kinds of educators together for fun afternoons of learning exciting hands-on ways to teach children about science and nature. Everyone is invited! Classroom teachers, outdoor educators, scout leaders, homeschool parents – anyone who wants to be a better educator.
Join us as we walk through the Center, after hours, to discover some fun ways you and your students can learn about California!
Afterwards we’ll enjoy a light meal of “California Cuisine” donated by our friends at Richard Jones PIT BBQ, and share some wine by the campfire before breaking out the marshmallows and skewers to make some s’mores!
To sponsor the wine for this event, please contact Lori.
We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.
