Service Learning Internships & Senior Projects
The ENC invites mature, responsible students to participate in our service-learning internship program. Students work with ENC staff to participate in projects that help them to learn more about an aspect of the Nature Center of particular interest to them, while at the same time performing valuable, meaningful community service for the Nature Center. Service Learning Projects include: Retail interns, Marketing/PR interns, Habitat Restoration intern, Compost Learning Lab intern, Butterfly House Docent intern, Museum Docent intern and Springtime Wildflower Junior Biologist. Students must commit to volunteering at least 20 hours at the Center to participate in this program. Download a Student Service Learning App and submit it between September 1, 2013 and February 28, 2014. Students, not parents, are responsible for communicating with ENC staff regarding Service Learning Internships.
