10:00 am - 11:00 am
What: Enjoy a light breakfast while watching a short 20 minute presentation on native plant container gardening. Afterwards we’ll visit our Outdoor Classroom where everyone will have an opportunity to pot up a native succulent (dudleya pulverulenta or dudleya haseii) in a lovely terra cotta pot to take home. Keep yours or give it as a gift! Sponsored by Room & Board, Costa Mesa.
When: May 13 at 10AM
Why: Native plants help save money and water, and require less maintenance than a traditional landscape. Whether your goal is to draw more butterflies or birds to your yard, save water, eliminate pesticide use, or showcase color throughout the year, native plants can help!
Where: Environmental Nature Center, 1601 E. 16th Street, Newport Beach, CA 92663
