ENC Presents 4th Annual Children’s Art Showcase

March 26, 2015 – The ENC is presenting its 4th annual Children’s Art Showcase on May 3, 2015. Youth, ages 4 – 18 have the opportunity to exhibit their art at the Environmental Nature Center’s Spring Faire. The theme of the showcase is “Trashy Yet Classy”. Read more.

Daily Pilot: Planned Nature Preschool gets $1-million Gift

ENC Preschool Project Receives Funding Boost from Local Philanthropist

March 18, 2015 – The ENC Nature Preschool Campaign has received a $1 million donation from a local philanthropist, and the anonymous donor has pledged another $3 million in matching challenge funds. ENC Presents Presidents Week Nature Camps Outdoor Learning & Play for K – 6th Gd. Kids

January 15, 2015 – The ENC will present Presidents Week Nature Camp for students, grades K through 6th, from February 16th to the 19th.  Camps are from 9AM to 3PM, and half day camps are available from 9AM to 1PM. Read more.

December 23, 2014 – The ENC invites educators to the Excellent Educator Series, a monthly event at which educators learn new hands-on ways to educate children about science and nature. October 28, 2014 - The ENC will host a presentation featuring George Murdoch, Newport Beach Utilities General Manager, and Shane Burckle, Newport Beach Water Conservation Coordinator. September 2014 – Nurturing a love of Nature, this first timer to the Parenting OC awards list inspired voters with their goal of teaching ecological responsibility and respect for the environment through hands-on activities. A Naturalist-to-camper ratio of ten-to-one ensures kids stay engaged as they learn and explore the world around them.
